	La Alianza Hispana is a community based non-profit organization serving the Latino community and all residents of the surrounding neighborhoods. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Food and Drug Administration Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (FDA-CFSAN) provide awareness of food-borne illnesses, particularly those most prevalent in the Hispanic community. FDA-CFSAN interacts with health festival participants to deliver food safety information, including food handling methods that prevent cross contamination, and proper cooking, storage, and hand-washing techniques.

	New England Eye is a network of eye care centers and programs that reach out to the community with tailored programs for diverse populations. By operating as the teaching affiliate of the New England College of Optometry, and through its ongoing collaboration with area health professionals, New England Eye offers specialized services for the whole-person that begins by focusing on comprehensive eye care.
	The New England College of Optometry has an enrollment of over 400 students, the student body is the most diverse of any college of optometry in the world.
