Walgreens will also feature its Take Care Health Tour Bus at the festival, providing Celebra participants, ages 18 and up, with important health information and six FREE health screenings, including: blood pressure, cholesterol, bone density, glucose, waist circumference and body mass index. The free health screenings are worth more than $115, but they are priceless if they help people catch illnesses early when treatments are often more effective. The Celebra sponsorship is part of Walgreens program to bring free screening services and better health awareness to local communities throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Forest Hills Hospital provides healthcare with sensitivity and respect for the cultural needs of their patients and their families. They also offered glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure screenings. They provided an RV for prostate cancer and HIV/AIDS screenings. |

MetroPlus Health Plan provides information about access to free and low-cost quality healthcare, and they also educated children at the health festival about eating healthy and handed out samples. They also facilitated the health screenings. |
