Is a known fact that Hispanics are the biggest and faster growing minority in the U.S. In 40 years one every four americans will be a Hispanic decedent. In this section we will talk about the main reasons why Hispanics americans are growing in numbers at such fast pace. The two main reasons for hispanic immigration are economic opportunity and political persecution. Some Hispanic countries suffer from political instability, civil wars and economic crisis, making illegal immigration one of the only options. On the other hand Hispanics are more willing to take entry level jobs that many Americans are not willing to take, making the US the a good place to go to. Is important to clarify the Hispanics are not the fastest growing minority thanks just to illegal immigration but also to higher birthrate of Hispanics living within the U.S.
New generations of Hispanics americans are growing across the States. Some think that this puts a burden to the educational and medical care systems, but the truth is that this is actually beneficial. Hispanics spend money everyday in a variety of business. They pay for school and rent, buy groceries at the supermarket and go out to restaurants and bars. The money that hispanic could spend increasing their homeland economy is being spend in the U.S. Because the of the willingness to take entry level positions more jobs are created for them.
Puerto Ricans are the only hispanics that have a different immigration status. They are born as U.S residents since Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory. Other than them are consider immigrants and each of their generation have to deal with different kinds of issues. The first generation's biggest issue is to learn the language and to get establish. The second generation usually grow speaking English. Because of hispanic immigration they don't know their parents' homeland and will also absorb values and ideals that kids born and raise in the U.S. have.
